Over Spring vacation, my family got a tour of the White House! This is the view of the back yard. Notice the soccer net; this must be Barron's sport. If you want a tour of the White House, you need to request the tour through Congressman Eliot Engel three months in advance. The White House is elegant and beautiful! This is a really good book! A sixteen-year-old, Kyle Donohue, watches the first Twin Tower come down from the window of Stuyvesant High School. While running for his life to get home to safety, he is crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, and he stumbles across a girl, covered in ash, and wearing a pair of costume wings. She can't remember who she is, so Kyle decided to help her out and take her home with him. Kyle's mother and sister are in California. He isn't able to reach his father who is a New York City detective, he thinks his father may be helping save people in the disaster. Kyle and the girls story are told in alternating points of view, as Kyle tries to unravel the mystery of the girl so he can return her to her family.
